Buddha Update

Some of you may be aware that last week Gary " The Buddha " Green underwent an operation to have  a troublesome kidney removed. This was done successfully and Gary in now recovering well in Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. Gary suggested they fill the fluid bag with Tooheys Old and he would be peeing freely again in no time. Linda said it was a good sign that he is now giving the staff there plenty of curry.

Once he sorts out his medication he should be able to head home back to Maitland soon.

Thanks for the information. Is it a sign of the times, are we getting that little bit older? Perhaps sad but true. Either way it is never any fun when our health challenges us. If you are in touch wish him all the best, at least from me but more likely from everyone that knows him. It certainly is no laughing matter when they have to take the piss out of you. Hope he is peeing freely and over long distances soon, before, during and after a carton of Tooheys.

 The Buddha has been discharged from hospital and is now at home, he was discharged on the 9/3/15 so hopefully a speedy recovery is on the way  for the big fella.
