Yesterday he walked into a hotel in Ulaanbaatar, as you do.

A kiwi lad happily going about his business of driving into and out of Mongolia.

Two steps inside the door, and a voice says "Hello Mr Greg"

Merv Lapwood happened to be in the same hotel, while riding around Mongolia on a motor bike, as you do.
