Travelling around Iran

I would have enjoyed going Rudkhan Castle and  the very Goreme Valley-ish Laleh Kandovan Rocky Hotel; did anyone get to either?

I just had a look at the link, very impressive. I never went there.

I used to refer to the castle around Zanjan with a wave to the North. I knew that there was a castle, but never wentany where near it.

The assassin story was too good to miss, and added a lot to the north of Iran
