Has anyone else dealt with legal calls from Quall Cardot LLP?

birimox
I’ve been getting calls from Quall Cardot LLP for the past few weeks regarding an old debt. They are a law firm, so the calls feel more intimidating than the usual collection agency calls. They mentioned something about potential legal action, and honestly, it’s been stressing me out.

I know I shouldn't ignore it, but I'm not even sure this debt is valid or if they have the right person. I did some reading and learned I have the right to ask them to validate the debt in writing, which I plan to do. I’m also worried about their tactics they've called a couple of times early in the morning, which seems off to me.

Has anyone here had experience with this specific firm? How did you handle it? Did you request debt validation, and did they actually provide proof? I'm trying to figure out my next steps and whether I need to lawyer up to protect myself from things like wage garnishment. Any advice from someone who’s been through this would be really helpful.

TL;DR: Getting legal-feeling calls from Quall Cardot LLP about a debt. Worried about a lawsuit and looking for advice on how to handle them and if they are legitimate.
