Just bought the Kindle version of a 2014 book called "Strange Rebels: 1979 and the Birth of the 21st Century. Chapter Three is about the overland.
I think we all knew that we were experiencing times that would go down in history: but according to this chap, we were there at the birth of the 21st century.
